Customize Default Region and Language Settings in HubSpot
Setting the correct time zone, language, and formatting preferences ensures your HubSpot account is consistent for all users. You can configure default settings for your account, while individual users can adjust their own preferences if needed.
Customize Default Time Zone

In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.

In the left sidebar menu, click Account Defaults.

Under the General tab, click the Time zone dropdown menu and select the appropriate time zone.

In the dialog box, click Yes, change time zone to confirm.

Click Save.
Note: Changing the account time zone impacts timestamp-based activities, such as workflows, reporting, and scheduled sends.
Customize Default Language, Date, and Number Format for Users
You can set default language and formatting preferences for new users joining your HubSpot account. Users can update their individual settings later if necessary.
To update default user settings:

In your HubSpot account, click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.

In the left sidebar menu, click Account Defaults.

Click the User Defaults tab.

Update the following settings:

Language: Click the Language dropdown menu and select the preferred default language for your users.
🌐 This setting changes the HubSpot interface language, but does not translate custom property names.

Date and Number Format: Click the Date and number format dropdown menu and select a Country. This will define how dates and numbers are displayed across the account.
