How to Create a Quote in HubSpot

Creating a quote in HubSpot is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
  1. Navigate to the Deals Section

    • From the main dashboard, go to the Sales tab.
    • Click on Deals to view your existing deals.
  2. Select the Deal

    • Locate and click on the specific deal for which you want to create a quote. This will open the deal record.
  3. Scroll to the Quotes Section

    • In the deal record, scroll down to find the Quotes section, which is typically located in the right-hand sidebar or at the bottom of the deal details.
  4. Add a New Quote

    • Click plus sign
  5. Add Buyer Information

    • In this step, ensure that buyer information is accurate:
      • You can add or confirm contact details for the buyer associated with this deal.
      • If necessary, add other relevant contacts or companies.
  6. Enter line items

    • Add products or services that you are quoting:
      • You can select existing line items from your product library or create new custom line items.
      • Adjust quantities and pricing as needed, and apply any discounts if applicable.
  7. Review and Customize Further

    • Review all entered information for accuracy.
    • Make any additional customizations, such as adding payment options or signature fields if required.
  8. Create and Send
    • Once everything is set up correctly, click on Create Quote or similar option to finalize it.
    • HubSpot will generate a link to access the quote, which you can send via email directly from HubSpot or download as a PDF.
