How to exclude email addresses from HubSpot logging

Managing Your Personal Never Log List

Steps to Add Emails

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Navigate to General
  3. Select Email tab
  4. Find "Never Log" section
  5. Click "Add emails or domains"
  6. Enter addresses in two ways:
    • Single email: emailaddress@domain.com
    • Entire domain: *@domain.com
  7. Click Save

Remove from Personal List

  • Hover over email/domain
  • Click Remove
  • Changes apply immediately

Important: Personal list limit is 500 emails/domains

2. Managing Team-Wide Never Log List (Super Admins Only)

Steps for Team-Wide Exclusion

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  2. Navigate to Objects > Activities
  3. Select Email Logging tab
  4. Find "Never Log" section
  5. Click "Add emails or domains"
  6. Enter addresses in two ways:
    • Single email: emailaddress@domain.com
    • Entire domain: *@domain.com
  7. Click Save

Remove from Team List

  • Hover over email/domain
  • Click Remove
  • Changes apply to all users

Important: Team-wide list limit is 500 emails/domains

Key Limitations and Notes

What's Not Affected

  • Emails to non-listed recipients still log
  • Team email communications
  • Third-party integrations
  • Conversations inbox

Additional Information

  • Direct CRM emails will send but won't log
  • BCC/forwarded emails to listed addresses won't log
  • List doesn't affect conversation inbox settings
  • Changes take effect immediately
