How to Set Up a Ticket Pipeline in HubSpot

Setting up a ticket pipeline in HubSpot involves several straightforward steps. Here’s how to do it:

Access the Settings

  • Log into your HubSpot account.
  • Click on the settings icon in the main navigation bar.

Navigate to Tickets

  • In the left sidebar menu, go to Objects and click on Tickets.

Create a New Pipeline

  • Click on the Pipelines tab.
  • From the Select a pipeline dropdown menu, choose Create pipeline.
  • In the dialog box that appears, enter a name for your new pipeline and click Create.

Customize Ticket Statuses

  • After creating your pipeline, you can customize the ticket statuses:
    • Select the newly created pipeline from the dropdown menu.
    • Click on the + Add another status option under existing statuses.
    • Enter a name for your new status and choose whether it should be marked as Open or Closed in the corresponding column.
    • You can reorder or delete existing statuses as needed.

Save Changes

  • Once you have finished customizing your statuses, click Save at the bottom left corner of the screen.

Customize Properties (Optional)

  • If desired, you can customize ticket properties for specific statuses:
    • Hover over a status row and click on Edit properties.
    • Select which properties should be presented when tickets reach that status and indicate if they are required.
    • Click Next, then Save to finalize these settings.
