Preview Customization

Preview customization in HubSpot allows users to tailor how information is displayed when previewing records, making it easier to access relevant data quickly.

Accessing Preview Customization

To customize preview sidebars:
  1. Click on the settings icon in your HubSpot account.
  2. Navigate to Objects, then select the object you wish to customize.
  3. Click on the Preview customization tab.

Customizing Preview Sidebars

Users have the option to modify which cards appear in preview mode:
  • Select which properties are displayed in each card.
  • Create unique preview sidebars for different teams if needed.
  • Set conditional display logic for cards based on specific property values.

Saving Changes

Once customizations are made:
  • Users can save their changes and preview how the new layout will appear on actual records.
  • Options are available for editing existing views or resetting them back to default settings if necessary.
