HubSpot Reporting and Dashboards

Build reports and dashboards on a single source of truth, so leaders can trace revenue from the dashboard back to the record behind it.

HubSpot Reporting and Dashboards turn the data in your CRM into shareable views of marketing, sales, and service performance. Reports answer specific questions from records, properties, and activities, while dashboards group those reports into one screen. Because everything reads from the same Smart CRM, leaders trace a number back to the contact, deal, or ticket behind it.
What it does

From raw records to decisions

Reporting in HubSpot covers the full path from a single data point to a board-ready view.

Single source of truth

Every report reads from the same CRM, so marketing, sales, and service numbers line up.

Prebuilt report library

Start from ready-made reports for pipeline, activity, traffic, and ticket volume.

Custom report builder

Combine objects and properties to answer a question the standard reports do not.

Drill into records

Click any data point to open the underlying contacts, deals, or tickets.

Dashboards and filters

Group reports on one dashboard, then filter by team, owner, or date range.

Scheduled sharing

Send a dashboard by email on a recurring schedule or share it with chosen users.

Report types

Choose the report that fits the question

HubSpot offers several report formats so you match the view to what you are trying to learn. Single-object reports cover one record type, while cross-object reports connect data across the funnel.

  • Single-object reports for one record type, such as deals or tickets
  • Cross-object reports that link contacts, deals, and companies in one view
  • Funnel and attribution reports to see where revenue starts and stalls
  • Chart styles including bar, line, table, pivot, and summary cards

  4. Save to a dashboardName the report, then add it to a new or existing dashboard so it sits next to related views.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between a report and a dashboard in HubSpot?
A report answers one question, such as deals closed by owner this quarter. A dashboard is a collection of reports shown together on one screen. You build reports first, then add them to a dashboard so a leader can scan several views at once.
Can I build custom reports or only use the prebuilt ones?
Both. HubSpot ships a library of prebuilt reports for common questions, and the custom report builder lets you combine objects, properties, and filters to answer something specific. The number of custom reports and dashboards you can keep depends on your subscription tier.
Where does the data in my reports come from?
Reports read directly from your Smart CRM, which holds your contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and activities. Because marketing, sales, and service all sit in the same database, a revenue number on a dashboard ties back to the actual records behind it.
Can I share a dashboard with my team or send it on a schedule?
Yes. You can share a dashboard with specific users or teams, and you can schedule it to go out by email on a recurring basis, for example every Monday morning. This is useful for SEA teams that report across time zones and want the same view in everyone’s inbox.
Can reporting include data from other tools we use?
HubSpot reports natively on data inside the CRM. Data from other systems can be brought in through integrations or Operations Hub data sync, after which it becomes available to report on alongside your native records. The right setup depends on the tool and how the data is mapped.
